Scott Hollander, DO

Vascular Access Center of Atlantic County

Hollander-Head-ShotDr. Hollander is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology with Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Hollander obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy at the New York Institute of Technology, followed by his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Hollander then went on to complete his fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. He remained in Connecticut for several years as the Director of Interventional Radiology at Stamford Hospital before taking an Interventional Radiology position spanning across the tri-state area.

Dr. Hollander recently joined Philadelphia Vascular Institute where he obtained additional Peripheral Arterial Disease training from James, McGuckin, MD at the Peripheral Vascular Institute of Philadelphia.

Dr. Hollander is an avid sports enthusiast and historian with a passion for health and fitness.

Mir Ahmad, MD

Vascular Access Center of Central New Jersey

mir-ahmad-headshotDr. Mir Ahmad, M.D. completed his Internship and Residency in 1998 from Mount Sinai School of Medicine-VA Bronx program and then his Fellowship in Nephrology in 2000 from UMDNJ-Cooper Medical Center, Camden, NJ.. Dr. Ahmad then trained in Hemodialysis Vascular Access under Dr. James McGuckin, M.D. and is certified by the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.

Dr Ahmad has been practicing as a Clinical and Interventional Nephrologist in New Jersey since 2000. In addition he is a Medical Director of FMC – Maplewood, NJ since 2005. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds active Medical Licenses in New Jersey. He is also trained in Endovascular management of Peripheral Arterial Disease. Dr. Ahmad specializes in all aspects of hemodialysis vascular access, fistula maturation, chest port placement, peripheral arterial disease and vascular medicine.


 

Sohail Contractor, MD

Vascular Access Center of West Orange

Dr. Contractor is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology in Interventional Radiology/ Diagnostic Radiology as well as a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has trained in Internal Medicine at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, NY; Diagnostic Radiology at Rutgers- New Jersey Medical School (formerly UMDNJ) and Interventional Radiology at New York University School of Medicine and Tisch Hospital. Dr. Contractor has practiced Interventional radiology at The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, NYU- Tisch Hospital and The University Hospital, Newark, NJ for since 2002. He is also the Chair of the Department of Radiology at Rutgers NJMS, Newark, NJ.
Dr. Contractor’s clinical interest include hepato-biliary disease, vascular malformations, venous and dialysis access interventions and interventions for venous thrombotic disorders. He brings to the Vascular Access Center many years of clinical expertise at major academic medical centers.
Dr. Contractor is also an avid reader of humanities and enjoys playing and coaching soccer.


 

David Klyde, MD

Vascular Access Center of West Orange

Dr. Klyde is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology
with Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional
Radiology. Dr. Klyde obtained his medical degree at
the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After a medical internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital, he completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at The Combined Programs of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center/Jacobi Hospital in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Klyde then went on to complete his fellowship in
Vascular Interventional Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center. He briefly joined a private practice in New Jersey before entering academic medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Medical center in New York City. For the past 14 years, Dr. Klyde has been practicing Vascular and Interventional Radiology at University Hospital, Newark, NJ employed by Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Klyde has a special interest in dialysis access.

Dr. Klyde enjoys the outdoors hiking, fishing, and camping.

Abhishek Kumar, MD

Vascular Access Center of West Orange

Dr. Kumar is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology. He
completed his fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional
Radiology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He is an Assistant Professor
in the Department of Interventional Radiology at Rutgers New
Jersey Medical School.
His clinical interests include Peripheral Arterial Disease, venous
disease, dialysis interventions, women’s health/Uterine Fibroid
Embolization, radial access for minimally invasive therapy, and
Kyphoplasty.
