David B. Cohen, MD

Vascular Access Center of Bolivar County

david-cohen-headshotDr. David B. Cohen, a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist, joined Vascular Access Centers in 2016.  Prior to joining VAC, he spent eight years with Advanced Radiology, P.C., in Jackson, TN.

Dr. Cohen graduated from Chicago Medical School in 1999, before training at the University of Colorado (Denver; Fellow), the University of Tennessee (Memphis; Resident) and UMDNJ – NJMS (Newark, NJ; Resident).  He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and the American College of Radiology.

With a focus on broadening the scope of practice that outpatient centers can provide, Dr. Cohen specializes in numerous areas of screening and treatment, including dialysis access related procedures, Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), venous disorders (including spider, varicose and deep vein issues), kyphoplasty (for the treatment of vertebral compression fractures), uterine fibroids, pelvic congestion syndrome and varicoceles.

“Interventional radiologists can provide a wide range of screenings and minimally invasive, non-surgical treatments – in a safe and comfortable outpatient setting,” says Cohen.

Dr. Cohen and his wife reside in Memphis, TN, and have three children.
