James F. McGuckin, Jr., M.D
Founder Vascular Access Centers and co-founded Rex Medical with Whitfield Gardner in 1999 and directs R & D.
Dr. McGuckin is Director of the Philadelphia Vascular Institute located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. McGuckin’s research interest include: Cardiovascular Systems, Endoscopy and Endosurgery, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Limb Salvage, Percutaneous Oncologic Therapy and therapy related to the End Stage Renal Disease population. He is currently researching recanalization of Central Venous Occlusion using RF ablation. He holds 39 patents and has over 170 pending patents. Dr. McGuckin double majored in Mechanical Engineering and Pre-Medical from the University of Notre Dame in 1983, and received his M.D. from Hahnemann University in 1987, General Surgery in 1988, Masters Degree in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania in 1990, Diagnostic Imaging in 1995, and completed his Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1996.

Kimberly J. Parkinson
Kimberly brings more than 20 years of health care administration and nursing leadership experience to Vascular Access Centers and Dialysis Access Centers. She most recently held the position of Director of Patient Care Services for American Access Care in Philadelphia, PA. During this time she managed the opening of two centers in Philadelphia and another in New Jersey. Her responsibilities included the development and maintaining the operational budgets for all three facilities as well as the management of patient care delivery for seven centers. Prior to joining American Access Mrs. Parkinson served in various positions of increasing responsibility in emergency services, radiology and cardiovascular surgery at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. She also served as Nurse Manager of the Radiology Department at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Kimberly maintains licensure in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, and Washington State. She is a member of American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing.
Kimberly earned a Masters of Nursing and Health Care Administration from the University of Pennsylvania with a Minor in Business from The Wharton School and her BSN from Richard Stockton State College.

Mark Tucci
Mark joined Vascular Access Centers in January 2006 bringing considerable knowledge of public company financial operations to the organization as it grows its business. Prior to joining VAC Mark was Vice President, Finance/Controller for Loral CyberStar, a global managed network services provider. His responsibilities included accounting, treasury, cost control and tax planning. Previously, Mark was on the finance team at Orion Network Systems in Rockville, Maryland, coming to this international satellite services company from General Electric. Joining Orion prior to the start of commercial operations, Mark was the financial analysis team leader during the initial IPO and the ultimate raising of over $850 million to fund the construction of the Company’s global satellite system. He also played a role in Orion’s $1.5 billion purchase by Loral Space and Communications.
Mark received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Barbara J. O'Dare
Barbara brings more than 15 years of business development and management experience to Vascular Access Centers and Dialysis Access Centers. Barbara has a solid, proven professional background in corporate development, strategic planning, corporate marketing, public, media and community relations, as well as expertise in direct sales campaigns. She served in the hospitality industry as an executive in business development, sales and marketing. Mrs. O'Dare fine tuned her professional skills in conceptualizing and managing effective business development strategies, affiliations and alliances. She brings her vision for progressive growth, customer service and performance excellence to the executive management team.

Brian LaMendola, RN BSN
Brian has been working with Vascular Access Centers since June 2006. Prior to joining VAC, Brian had an operational and educational background in the field of nursing. Brian was a Clinical Manager and Dialysis Options Educator for Fresenius Medical Care from 2004-2006. He has been in the dialysis field since 2002. Brian has been published in Endovascular Today, and presents nationally on the topic of Vascular Access. Brian received his Nursing degree from Duquesne University and is also a MBA candidate at Waynesburg University in Southwestern PA and is projected to graduate in August of 2010.

Andrea Cutillo
Andrea joined Vascular Access Centers in 2009 as a Program Deveopment Specialist with expertise in the field of sales & marketing, specifically in the area of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). Andrea has been responsible for developing and executing the PAD program on a national scale & continues to drive this endeavor in her new role as the VP of Marketing & Sales. She brings with her an extensive background in medical sales and program development and utilizes this expertise to bring exemplary customer service to the referral physician community through Vascular Access Centers' direct marketing force.
